Guaranteed Irish has appointed Vhi Healthcare as its official Health and Wellbeing Partner and licensed member, giving its network of more than 2,500 member businesses access to Community Wellness Events, Health Station wellbeing services, Mental Health First Aid training and an exclusive discount on Vhi multi-trip travel insurance.

Guaranteed Irish is a Dublin-based business membership organisation representing more than 2,500 companies committed to supporting local employment and Irish communities. Vhi Healthcare is Ireland's largest private health insurer, a commercial state body founded in 1957, serving more than 1.23 million members for the eleventh consecutive year of membership growth. For FY2025, Vhi generated gross earned premiums of €1.97 billion, paid out €1.84 billion in healthcare costs and reported a net surplus of €71.2 million, up 96% on 2024. Vhi holds approximately 48% of the Irish private health insurance market by insured lives and operates VHI 360 Health Centres and SwiftCare clinics alongside its insurance business.

The structural driver is the growing employer market for workplace health and wellbeing infrastructure. Irish employers are operating in a regulatory environment where statutory sick pay has expanded to five days annually, absence management liability has increased and employee wellbeing is a material competitive factor in talent retention.

For small and medium enterprises within the Guaranteed Irish membership, the partnership provides access to structured health programming, mental health first aid training and Health Station services that would otherwise be commercially inaccessible at their scale without a direct Vhi corporate account.

For Vhi, the Guaranteed Irish partnership is a distribution channel into 2,500 Irish businesses without a direct corporate account relationship. With Level Health, Laya and Irish Life Health each investing in employer channel development, Vhi's brand presence within a curated Irish business community is a defensive positioning exercise as much as a growth one.

For the sector, the partnership reflects the Irish private health insurance market's shift toward prevention, early intervention and workplace wellbeing, the strategic direction Vhi's CEO explicitly identified in its FY2025 results as the next phase of the organisation's development.
