Irish research projects focusing on ways to make medical treatments safer, faster and more effective have secured the support of one of Europe’s most prestigious funding programmes.

The three studies, based at the University of Galway, will focus on improving heart stent durability; efforts to move away from animal testing for brain disease; and advancing equity, diversity and inclusion in clinical trials.
